I unfortunately had to turn off the comment feature, and disable new user registrations until I find a way to deal with the spammers out there who are continually spamming my blog. Guess its a read only thing for everyone now, sorry for anyone who wants to comment, I wish I could do something about it, but I’ll have to look to upgrade in the near future…
So I wrote over the weekend about my stomach flu and how sick i felt on Sunday, well I decided to take Monday off from running, which was a good thing because my stomach was still out of sorts and I still hadn’t eaten anything significant. So I jumped back in to my 6 miler on Tuesday without issue, it felt good to get back to running and then successfully got my 10 miler in this morning. This was the first mid week ‘long’ run of 10 miles or more, and I admit that I was tired afterward, but recovered overall for the day. I don’t like the fact that its so dark again when I run in the morning, but I always look at it that it will only getter more light as the days go on … so come summertime, it’ll be light at 4:45am again, and I’ll be out there!
I’m preparing for the first 20 miler this weekend, both mentally and physically and expect to do my 6 miler tomorrow AFTER work instead of before, which is a change, but my little girl is getting a procedure done tomorrow morning (just minor) so I can’t get out there unless I get up REAL early (which maybe i’ll do, we’ll see)..
